Sergio De Larrea in the win against the Oklahoma City Thunder: 2 PTS, 9 REB, 14 AST, +13

Box Score

Promising playmaking moments from the 25th overall pick in a win where many of the Mavs’ young players had exciting flashes. Obviously there is not a perfect correlation between Summer League play and regular season NBA games, but De Larrea seems to be a potential draft steal for a team in dire need of shot creation.

There’s always a lot of talk about rivalries, but who is your school’s bestie?

Listen, I love negativity as much as the next guy but I also love when schools have cool, surprising connections! Whether it’s because of common vibes, common rivals, or just a shared bit of history, who would you say is your school’s bestie?

As far as I’m aware there isn’t a consensus answer for Texas, but I’ve always felt a certain kinship with Michigan. The schools have always felt like twins to me being football-obsessed, academically solid, and sharing a hatred of the color red. Plus, I know a ton of Texas undergrads who went to Michigan for grad school and the two fanbases have an almost identical stuck-up and arrogant reputation.
