REASONS:

1. Eloise is WAITING TOO LONG. Her season was already swapped, her character has a highlight since season 1, her love interest appeared before Hannah Dodd's Frabcesca even exist, so...why? It sound terrible;

2. Eloise will need to have set up for her story, right? And it's likely to us to have a cliffhanger for another reasons I'll not extend myself to talk about. If they postpone it with a season, the timing will be so odd;

3. The ideal moment, for me, would be after season 6 because of the next 2 leads, considering they're too young in our pov and we would see a time-skip and a larger space to we see him as adults;

4. IF WE DON'T HAVE CHRIS FULTON BACK IN SEASON 5, THERE WILL BE ONE MORE FUCKING YEAR OF PEOPLE SPECULATING A RECAST, A DIFFERENT LOVE INTEREST AND I'M DONE OF THIS SHIT

I mean, Nicola basically said she'll not appear that much and we know Eloise always hanging around with her since season 1. Maybe she'll be hanging around with Michaela, Sophie, etc, but I feel something will lack for her without Pen's presence. I don't know what to feel about it. >!Reminds me a little bit book 5, that Pen doesn't have any line😫!<

I saw some comments about certain sub fandoms that looks like they don't get very well how Bridgerton structure works to talk shits like "oh, I don't want x character to have a set up IN MY SEASON". Guys, if it was a set up for YOUR COUPLE, you'd like it, YOU HYPOCRITES and BRIDGERTON SHOW STRUCTURE FOLLOWS OTHER STORYLINES. I know there are certain storylines that break the rhythm of the season(Kanthony's season unfortunately had a lot of parallels storylines that unfortunately took the attention of the couple. I'm not saying not even about a set up for the next couple in this case), but getting mad only because the next couple will have a set up in your fav's season is a such an egoistic and DUMB take. The show is about THE BRIDGERTON FAMILY, NOT ONLY ABOUT YOUR FAV. I hope my favs to have a season that tells their story properly, but I hope to see more about the next leads.

Guys, I know we can dream about the path of our fav couples, characters of even the show itself, BUT DON'T BE DELUSIONAL AND HATEFUL WHEN SOMETHING IS VERY CLEAR THAT WON'T HAPPEN. Why can't y'all accept Eloise will end up with Philip(he was introduced, btw) if it's already confirmed, why can't y'all accept Michaela will be Fran's endgame on the show, why can't we, Philoises, just accept it's not our turn yet? Besides, don't judge what you don't even know what will happen and don't be arrogant to think your version of the story(that's an impossible one, such as Eloise remains single in a ROMANCE SHOW) is better and Shondaland should look at your comment and do the story the way it is.

Let's accept it is a romance story, let's accept every season is based on one of the books and let's also be open minded for changes that might happen about the characterization, gender, a little bit of the personality of the characters or even some details(with the basis always being the same) of the story.

Be more open minded and do not project your desire or yourself, be coherent with the purpose of the show is and if you don't like it, just write your own story instead being hateful. This behavior will only contaminates the main subs with an unnecessary negativity.

We know that many book scenes were/will be simply cutted from the show for several reasons, but if it's unnecessary, what do you expected(or is currently expecting) they putted on screen that are in the books?

For me:

Book 1) their final talk is much better(the fear of Simon to have a kid like him and Daphne comforting, telling him he'd be loved anyways);

Book 2) I'd choose Kanthony scene in library, showing Kate's fear of storms. It would put in-depth Kate's character a little bit more and I'd love it;

Book 3) I didn't finish(and the adaptation until now, in 40% of the book, is VERY FAITHFUL), but I liked a little bit more their talk when they were in the ball and I'd like to see Sophie REALLY stealing Araminta;

Book 4) I didn't read yet;

Book 5) A BUNCH OF SCENES LOL. The runaway scene, the lake scene, the kids pranking Eloise, their first time is perfect, "we will suit scene", Bridgerton invasion, the shooting scene, the portrait scene, etc. I think they can optimize a lot of Eloise's book. There will have only a lot of additions.

Book 6) I feel this one will be pretty modified, but the rain scene(they get in cabin), the scene Francesca take care of Michael(a) because of malaria, jealous Francesca because of suitors around Michael(a), she running away to Scotland, they visiting John's grieve, "tell me something wicked" and Violet's talk with Francesca. Maybe the epilogue too.

Book 7 and 8 I didn't read yet, so I won't tell my expectations and you better put a spoiler strip in your comments when you talk about them☝️🤓

I feel that, to get Philip's character, the flashbacks will be very necessary. A little bit of his childhood, how he was when George went to war(because I feel George was in his place), his marriage with Marina and her death(I don't think they'll show this season. Only mentions). I don't know how Bridgerton will handle it because they're not the biggest fans of flashbacks. They made a lot for Francesca not having this necessity so present in her season and Polin didn't even have theirs when they meet for the first time. I know we had in season 1, 2 and 4, but very little compared to Philip's necessity on it.

I have the impression widowhood will be one of the themes of this season and QC always seemed ready to her husband pass away, so I think, different from the real life, king George might die or be announced as dead early in season 5.

I feel >some< characters will be announced as widowed during this season, actually.

I think it's because Michael in the books leaves right after this and it would be incoherent to a woman do(because we get more the problems of other women, obviously) and it would look a very cold attitude(as it looked with Michael for many people) to root for the character of she left after Francesca's miscarriage. As like almost all the other characters on the show(mostly men, but women too, like Sophie), some behaviors and actions are softened compared to their book version, so it wouldn't be different with Michaela.

I'm telling it, because morbid themes were already worked on the show before and the exam scene is so uncomfortable. I know many things were softened, but I feel the main reason is the negative impact that could have on Michaela's character by the viewers.

I feel they did right. What do you think?

A question like "we'll have a comeback of any character that appeared in early seasons during season 5?", because there are many characters that don't appear since season 2 and they could have a comeback. It's a vague question, but important to make us hopeful about Daphne's comeback or >!Philip's/Marina's to make a building for Eloise's story!< and at least one of them would be very nice to see...

I was wondering about it because many people treat Eloise as an eternal character that will be hang on other people's plot and are simply not interested in her own story, people that do not like Benedict in his season but loved him in the previous ones and how I think Francesca will work better in her own season than the other she made part previously or the ones she might make part of after.

I'm asking it because I just started to read the books after season 4 and I just knew Sir Philip was her endgame in season 3 because of an edit people made about Philoise. I'm rewatching season 1 and I'm like "would I realize fast if I had read the books before watch the show?", because it was so naturally developed on the show...

I was thinking about how some characters in Bridgerton that I would rewrite some points of their story/journey to like them more. For example: Francesca has a very interesting story, specially in the second half of season 4, but I just rooted for her because she lost John and I want a HEA for her, we also saw she more close to her family, etc.

If I'd rewrite her to root for her character before it, I'd make her having a friend she liked(it would be explicit since the beginning), but she wouldn't understand it. It might be Michaela(it would change a little bit the story, but we might know more things about Michaela too) or some other girl. I don't like how she likes girls is some kind of "plot twist" for her character in season 3, specially in that context of her being married and stuttering with Michaela at the first sight. I mean, fall for a friend is a canonical event for basically every homosexual/bisexual person. Jess said she wanted to make a very authentic sapphic experience, so I'd like to see it in season 3, even if she fell for John after that or not. It's just an alternative to avoid this plot twist that we had.

Besides, more interaction with the family members before season 4, specially with Eloise, that's her closer sister in the book series. This point for me is very important because the strong point for Bridgerton is the family itself and the interaction they have, the funny situations, etc. I feel Franny had a plot very centred to her character. I know she's more introvert, but in the books we at least had she and Eloise paying a maid to explain about sex lol. This kind of situation is good to see and it exposes the personality of the characters that make us root for them.

These things are just some examples that I have for 1 character in specific(even though I have some opinions about others too), but we could rewrite it for some characters or even some situations/plots that made us get less invested in them.

I just had a thought and I realized that Eloise's story is one of with the most foreshadowings compared to other siblings. Since season 1(as y'all can see the details in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/PhiloiseHQ/s/yf3tQSZ50z ) until season 4(with the writing being cathartic, noble governesses, etc). Of course that Polin was obvious, for example, but Franchaela, Benophie, and even Kanthony started to have hints about their story only close to the start of their story. It's funny because Eloise's story is being built since the beginning and she will be the last one out of the older siblings to end up together lol.

In a previous post about Eloise in main sub I saw some people worried about Eloise runaway to Philip because of her loneliness. The thing is: the context of the book is different, because Penelope just got married at that point, while Eloise's season will happen 3 seasons after Penelope got married. Besides, Benedict got married 2 seasons before hers too. So I don't think that her pure loneliness will be the key. It will surely impacts, specially because Eloise is not very listened by the others around her(she never was that much btw) and Philip needs to be that support, but it's very likely to the writers to make Eloise wanting a MOC for a bigger reason. Maybe a permission to make a work that only married women can do or something like this. I know the writers are being more lazy about these details of the characters, but it makes sense for Eloise's character and would not get odd to not fit the context of the show, that the closest people of her are already married for a long time.

Simplesmente não gosto. É como qualquer outro livro sem capa. Sei que as melhores fanfics estão no AO3, mas infelizmente tenho que me rebaixar ao Spirit e o Wattpad por simplesmente não gostar do fato dessas fics serem sem capa.
