Not sure if this is ok here curious to hear anyone's desk audio setup.

So my cheap speakers went out and was thinking about getting some bookshelf for my desk and a mini amp. Budget From 500 to 600 mostly for shooting games and some movies. Ive looked into Polk, psb, golden ear, elac, paradigm, dynaudio, triangle, Sony, even rsl. And some of the power speakers like kayno and audio engine. I think I want to stay passive. Can anyone help

Everything has been so quiet. Where are the details? Where is the investigation into what happened? It feels like we’ve had almost no meaningful updates. Does anyone else find that strange?

I’ll start: Did anyone notice the live news coverage from the scene? It looked like the same long pink limousine that Oliver used in one of his music videos drove past the accident scene. Maybe it’s nothing, maybe it’s just a coincidence, but it caught my attention.
What are your thoughts? If you don’t think there’s anything unusual at all and believe everything is exactly as it seems, I’d like to hear that perspective too.

Just bought the divinity dac and the eversolo t8 what is some options for the i2s cord. Not trying to spend hundreds. Just want a basic cord that will work thanks.

Can anyone recommend a power cord? Thanks.

Just getting into high audio with the RnR latter NOS dacs. What do you own and swear by?

Edit: I’ve decided I’m sending the DAC back and moving up to the Denafrips Pontus 15th instead. I want to start there rather than with the Ares 15th.

That said… I just hooked up the Denafrips Ares 15th to my Musical Fidelity and streamed some The Doors to hear what this DAC could really do — and honestly, my jaw hit the floor. I had no idea my Focal Aria Evo X No2 speakers and RSL Speedwoofer 10S were capable of sounding this good.

The detail, depth, imaging, and realism are on another level. Instruments feel alive, vocals have body and presence, and the whole soundstage just opened up in a way I’ve never experienced before.

And the craziest part? This is only streaming from my laptop right now, so I know there’s still even more performance left once I add a dedicated streamer.

Absolutely blown away by what I’m hearing.

I’ve had this controller for about two weeks, and after a recent software update, it stopped properly applying the settings I choose in GameSir Connect. For example, turbo doesn’t seem to register consistently—even when it shows as enabled in the app. If it does work, it only lasts about five seconds before stopping again. Has anyone else run into this issue?
