Squeaking from Rear Passenger Side
Hello! I have a 2021 Tesla Model 3 with 66K miles. Puerchased it at 44K miles and the rear control arm was replaced immediately as it failed inspection after purchase.
Overall, it's been good - but I am getting a significant squeaking noise from the rear passenger side. It started out squeaking ocasionally, specifically at slower speeds and sometimes turns. I've driven it about 150 miles since then over the course of the last 2 weeks and today it was at the point where it was basically squeaking non stop. Any speed, accelerating or decelertating.
Any idea what this could be? Research seems to indicate a suspension problem or a rear control arm issue but the rear control arm only has 22K miles on it. FWIW, I had taken it to an EV place about 6 months ago for a different issue and the tech noted that the Front Lower Compliance Link Subframe side bushing was in the yellow zone on the passenger side and green on the driver side. These zones being quoted out of Tesla's manual. He recommended replacing when both the driver and passenger side are in yellow.
Would appreciate any advice or thoughts! I know people will recommend taking it into Tesla but I had a pretty miserable experience and mis-diagnosis from the dealer near me last time I had to take it in so I'm trying to avoid that if possible.
