Highlight of my first legacy playthrough
First, thank you to Smith and the team who made this wonderful game and made me fall back in love with Gen 1.
There was so many QoL and great changes throughout the game, but one that stuck out the most to me was when I went to catch Articuno after getting surf.
Just cooked Koga and headed to seaform islands. I reach at the end and see the Articuno, but a person was blocking the way. I thought they must be guarding it so that it'll only be available after I do all badges or something. I talk to them to see the conditions - and oh boy, I could not have been more wrong.
My entire team was in 43-45 range. I got absolutely decimated. Kept getting KO'd one after another. I only managed to play around and won the match with only 2-3hp remaining on my Alakazam. Everyone else fainted.
God that was probably the second most intense fight I've ever had in a Pokemon game (Cynthia takes the cake in Platinum). Loved every moment of it. Thank you for giving us these wonderful experiences!
