Just wanted to share the info ;)

It gonna be a long talk, and I apologize for it. But to understand, you have to read all of it. I will do my best to put at the end a TLDR, but this requires quite a lot of details. To introduce my latest theory, I must talk about the new Fire Anomaly agent Phoenix, and more precisely, the informations given away by her Agent Record. From Zhao and a mysterious Experiment log.

• The fact that within Krampus Compliance Authority only Krampus Leader can beat her.
• Her properties allowing her to enter Transcendence state thanks to Ether, and avoid dying.

1. Firstly, let's remember Isolde in version 2.2. Some details, at this time that may have appeared insignificant. Lorenz mentions he is glad he met Isolde, it's a precious asset, apparently good at manipulation as he mention her having done several arrangement with the city government. She also explain how to proceed to Damian to avoid being condemned by the Police or Justice. I will surprise nobody by reminding that Isolde played several side at once: Colonel for NEDF, a Research consultant, Mevorakh from Exaltist and the person the Mayor trust to help us solve the Porcelumex crisis in Wanfei Peninsula. Strangely, Zhao gather intel at Yum Cha Sin like Isolde, and Zhao was present when Isolde killed Lorenz saying that fate delivered judgement instead of Krampus. If you were attentive to the story dialogues, the Mayor and Krampus wanted to get rid of Lorenz and Lucro. And TOPS being in control of the Economy, it's hard to believe the Mayor wouldn't be forced to agree with them or turn blind eye when TOPS or Krampus kill anyone for whatever reason. Mayor also received Carole Arna picture in a private channel. At this moment, the only person that was in Hollows was Isolde and Exaltists.
2. This allow me to speak about Carole Arna. Carole Arna is the teacher of Belle / Wise, and she works for Helios Academy. Helios academy which is lead by nobody else than Arche. Phoenix ultimate show her eye being a Sun. Helios is the Sun god in Greek mythology. If you followed the lore around Void Hunters, you surely know that Sunbringer and Arche allied together to create the project Sun Seeker, this project was about creating Void hunter weapons containing the karma cores of Enchainers. Surely the Six Great Hollows enchainers. All Void Hunters are bound together by this project. And I attract your attention on two intriguing fact. Sarah Floren was left to die by the Leader of Falkenheym troops but saved by the Creator. This is shown in flashback dialogues in version 2.4. In version 2.8, we see a flashback of Remielle surely burying Thaumiel into the ground, this surely happens after Beliana Vike death, she decided the project was horrible and surely wanted to get rid of her weapon, not accepting being a Void Hunter anymore. Through, the right golden silhouette along her is strange. The woman doesn't look like Storyteller, or Beliana Vike. But strangely very very similar to Isolde in officer clothing. Think about it. Fall of Old Capital happened 10 years ago. If Sarah is like 22 Years old, and Isolde is like 38 years old, the hypothesis that the person near Remielle is 28 Years old Isolde is perfectly plausible. And Sarah being like 12 when abandoned under the collapsed building.
3. I already spoke about it in the past through my various theories, Isolde and Krampus leader ways of talking are very similar, with several talk habits like: Saying Relax and reassuring a younger person that they aren't angry against them. Being bothered by the fact they would disobey the order of killing someone. Isolde action and Lorenz accident also solved Porcelumex bad situation, which was the reason for Krampus to come in Failume Heights. Isn't it suspicious? The Mayor and Krampus both received report of Lorenz and Lucro being part of Bribery and Corruption but TOPS is totally absent from the situation. Isolde has a speech with us through radio about how the higher ups are all corrupted: NEDF, NEPS, HIA, HAND, TOPS... but note how she avoid mentioning Krampus. Why? You know the answer. We have other informations about Krampus Leader given to us across versions. v2.3: Zhao: The different members of Krampus are all differents and that is thanks to our boss. In v2.5: The Krampus boss knows that TOPS is interested by Void Hunter weapons and it worries her, at a point that she decided in v2.8 to order Zhao, Promeia and Phoenix to go to Roscaelifer. One person was absent from TOPS three headed pact council meeting in v2.7 TOPS lore video, and it's Krampus. Krampus leader office have a chess game. Who played on multiple sides during v2.2 and hate TOPS? Bingo. Isolde. She knows what TOPS is capable of, she lost her Agamemnon squad during the fall of Capital. Isolde revenge in v2.2 is only a tiny part of the puzzle. She saw how TOPS was corrupted and decided to become the founder of Krampus Compliance Authority. Isolde would have created Krampus to keep an eye on her main enemy: TOPS. And so she sent Krampus to Roscaelifer to protect Sunbringer. As Remielle and Isolde talked in the past, and she knows the truth and don't want Sunbringer power to fall into TOPS hands.
4. I can hear right now the issues: But didn't she turned into goo in v2.2 ? Didn't she appeared as a miasma soul in v2.5 ? And to answer you this, I send you back to Isolde speech about Carole arna in v2.2, about the fact she was a sinner, and Carole Arna miasma echo appearing where Isolde was defeated. Isolde did that on purpose, she want us to find the trace of Carole Arna and see by our own eyes that yes, she did illegal experiments on young students implying fusing human bodies with ethereals byproducts that are the Karma Core. Unethical tests. Isolde has proven in v2.0 as Miasma priest that she can rebirth thanks to Miasma, which is a derivative of Ether. Guess who else can't die thanks to Ether properties? Phoenix. Meaning whoever experimented on Phoenix, know about those properties. And there isn't a lot of candidates, it's either TOPS, Krampus, NEDF or Isolde.
5. And speaking of power and Ether, i want to remind you of that scene in v2.2, whereas Magus come to Suibian temple to save proxies thinking they are kidnapped by Yixuan. Yixuan simply refuse to let Magus enter, and even boast she can take by herself all Obsidian Division troops by herself. But when it's Isolde that came to Suibian temple, Yixuan didn't oppose, she bowed. She let Isolde enter and use HDD to contact us in Hollows. Why ? Sweet talking ? No. To me Yixuan felt how strong Isolde is, and decided it's better for her to avoid fighting her. She maybe sensed the miasma within her, or maybe something more disturbing. I quote Sarah in v2.0 ending: "How many times have I told you? What your eyes see isn't necessarily the truth." We fight an illusion in v2.0, the miasma priest wasn't here. In v2.2, Defiler fight happens in an illusionary arena in middle of water. During defector fight, Isolde can summon copy of herself or turn in some kind of red astral form. But the weirder detail is HIA enemy cards. Isolde isn't mentioned ANYWHERE. The cards are signed "Tides of Miasma". The Defiler, The Defector. Why not named Isolde ? Because it is just a mask. Being an Obsidian Division colonel is one of her multiple identities. And what we fought in v2.2 can be a miasma construct programmed to display a miasma echo when defeated. There are ethereals that turn into goo when defeated like Haytor. An ethereal can have human appearance: Doppelgangers, Drowned Ideals, but now, even the three Sunbringers.

That whole text bring me to that specific info from Phoenix agent record: "Only Krampus Leader can defeat her". It means that Phoenix is technically stronger than a miasma eradication machine that is Banyue. Banyue isn't nobody, his core have been reactivated by Lady Sunbringer. As seen in Banyue Music Video. It means that Krampus Leader is surely Void Hunter level. Think about Isolde attacks when in miasmic shield form: She does tornado attacks, acrobatics, clones, dashes... all of those remind of Miyabi attacks, but red. It's logical when you think of it, Tailless contain a karma core, it relies on Creator power, Miasma have a connection to Creator too, as it allows Creator to take possession of Ye Shiyuan and Ye Shunguang bodies in v2.4 and v2.5. There aren't a lot of candidate as Krampus Leader. It isn't Remielle. It can't be Arche, Falkenheym or Joyous since it's a woman. It can't be Beliana Vike because she is dead. Swordmaster died naturally with age. Who remains apart Isolde? Not a lot of candidates. There are some thinking about the white haired TOPS lady, but it can't be her, she has her own seat at the council, she lead a company with a flower bud as icon. But if you aren't convinced yet, it is time to use a more common theory everyone knows.

• The Krampus "Circus" theory, Zhao is the bunny from magician hat. Dialyn is the juggler playing with rings, or the ring holder linked to the lion called Banyue. Promeia is the escapist, she has restraints but can remove them in an eye blink. Phoenix is the magician assistant, the death trick, the box you cut in half with the saw. This is enforced by Phoenix v3.2 cutscene in which she is wearing a box on herself. The only role remaining is the Ringmaster, as known as Mr Loyal. Compared to other members who can have fantasy clothes, that one generally wear an uniform. An uniform that have various variants, one looking like Isolde officer outfit seen in Magus flashback in v2.2. The Role of a Ringmaster is to coordinate the other members, organize the show, to plan in advance. And for your show, you need various talents. That how Krampus and Obol Squad are born. Isolde is the Ringmaster.
• Krampus or Obol Squad, in both case, you can feel there is a notion of hierarchy, of Seniors and Juniors, of Master and Disciples. Furthermore, if you are really attentive, you can see how the roles overlap perfectly. What are those roles?

1. The Experiment to trick death: Phoenix / Soldier 11+Magus
2. The cute girl, who can stand up against orders if not liking them: Zhao / Orphie
3. The Executioner that kill who she judges evil: Promeia / Trigger
4. The crazy girl that can kill without remorse: Dialyn / Seed
5. The big robot: Banyue / Seed Sr

It's a template. And the Leader just repeated it twice. I quote Magus from v2.2: "Obol Squad couldn't have existed without Isolde guidance" and Zhao in v3.3: "Every member of Krampus have their particularities and it is thanks to our boss". In Orphie music video Fury On, we do see Isolde and Orphie/Magus standing together, then Magus go recruit one by one the members in that order: Orphie (Logical, she is born along Magus mind transfer), Trigger, Soldier 11 then Seed. If we translate it to Krampus: Zhao, Promeia, Phoenix then Dialyn. It's coherent. Zhao present Promeia as her special weapon. And Dialyn ask permission to Zhao. Just like Orphie and Trigger are quite close to each others. Seed do request guidance from the others.

Without forgetting, Krampus leader has a weird fixation on Phaethons - Belle / Wise. In Promeia trust event, Krampus boss give fake mission order to Promeia to force her hanging out with us. Doesn't it reminds you something? Yes, Orphie trust event, with Magus forcing Orphie to hang out using the excuse of tactical manual. Isolde firstly did that trick to Zhao and Promeia to make them hang out, Magus learned, and do it for Orphie.

TLDR: Krampus leader is surely very strong and VH level. Isolde and Sarah surely met original void hunters and know about Helios Academy. Krampus and Obol Squad share some similarities in structure. Isolde and Krampus leader have a lot of similar habits. Phoenix ability to be immortal is tie to Ether, like Isolde as miasma priest who resurrected in 2.0, miasma being a derivative of Ether. Isolde can fit in the role of a Ringmaster within Krampus circus theory. And Krampus leader sent Krampus to Roscaelifer, because she is Isolde, and she knows what horrible things TOPS can do, knowing about Void Hunters and Creator, she wants to protect Sunbringer.

Just hear me out on this. It is not about when playable, it's just seeing Isolde doing Parry QTE, and all the sick miasma moves... being the character that introduced the QTE mechanic... I honestly think she deserves to be Armorer. And Ether? I mean come one she uses miasma, miasma is a derivative of Ether. She summons clone of herself, do tornado attacks, can also turn in some sick red astral projection form. I don't even care if A rank or S rank, or if released in 1 month or 1 year. What I am just discussing with you here is: Isolde, as Ether Armorer. Doesn't it suit her very well? She channel her miasmic attacks and miasma shield with her sword...

These last days I was working on a little animation, Loser_Bangboo (X), known for making GIFs of ZZZ characters and animated ones kindly lent me several ones. The scenario is simple, it's a vacation day for Obol Squad, and they find friends on the way to have fun with them. It features several NPCs.

My midnight brain told me: "Hadrian. Draw it NOW" And so I drew it. This is my idea of Isolde as Krampus boss, the sword is the one from Miasma priest. Several elements reminding of her Colonel design but I mixed them with Krampus colors. Enjoy !

This is a chill post, not theory or fanart, it's really just for discussion. Isolde as Defector or Miasma priest demonstrated a lot of powers.

• Do you think most are linked to the ceremonial gown and mask she wore? Does she have natural abilities to be a miasma bender ? Is Isolde, like Lucia with Ether but with Miasma ? She did control 120+ miasmic soldiers !
• She infused herself a lot of time, using various forms of miasma. How does the body creation from memory work? Is that memory extraction like how Papago Hollow labyrinth extract memories to recreate places and enemies roaming around within it?
• If Miasma is that great, why does NEDF Obsidian Division didn't brought back all dead soldiers as drowned ideals? Miasma Spawn (The ethereals with mask and miasma backpack) sacrifices awaken from Obscuras outside of the Hollow proved ethereals can live outside of Hollows.

• -2.3: No backing out. Defector. --- Determination "Mr click is burning - Defiler intro cinematic"
• -2.5: The grieving souls. Defiler. --- Flowers / Stars "The miasmic soldiers, sky with stars"
• -3.1: The "Rare side". Miasma Priest. --- Night / Music "Focus on Ethereals, Fight at night"

Shella / Mr Click reactions are very important. All the themes and words stressed out in the discussions / talks too. I will tell you now what I think and theorycraft with all of that.

Firstly, numbers. As you know, Isolde wears 3 White roses. Whereas Defiler and Miasma Priest happens at Day 3 of the event, Defector happens at Day 6. 6 is a multiple of 3, but still, it's not same number, it means something changed compared to the two other encounters. My take on it:

• 6 is an incomplete cycle, the holy seven days. It means the rebirth didn't happened yet. But 6 being the addition of two 3, can mean the Defector is the fusion/addition of Miasma Priest and Defiler, an hybrid entity between human and ethereal. The "Sacrifice Card" from TOPS lady.

Secondly, the themes associated to Isolde encounters.

1. v2.3. Shella and Mr Click focus on the idea of not backing out, finishing what was started. But at the end, Mr Click overheat and tell us we could just throw water on it to cool it down. Then, it insists on buying a Music Box as a gift or Shella. It's curious, because I originally thought Isolde locket necklace was either a disguised music box or a gift from Orpheus to her.
2. v2.5. Mr Click after the fight speak about the grieving souls of the fallen soldiers who told it they have defeated a formidable foe, the power felt during the battle. Of course this is referring to the miasmic soldiers, and 2.2 events.
3. v2.8. Miss Spacey is mentioned to have a "Rare side" only seen during night. When do we fight Defiler, Defector and Miasma Priest ? Only during Midnight each time. Like the theory I had since v2.0 about Creator power being tied to darkness and moon. Btw, didn't you noticed that in Enigma of Labyrinth Zenkov, the sky and surrounding become darker and darker when Ulidim appears ? It's like the darkness of Ye Shiyuan arena or when Primordial nightmare bring you to her dimension of darkness and red ribbons. Red ribbon, like the one attached on the chest of Isolde, to her white rose.

Thirdly let's review the items / elements talked about in each encounter, the camera frames.

• -The first encounter require "Hollow" poster frame. Mentions of Determination.
• -The second encounter require "Vinyl" frame. We visit a flower shop.
• -The third encounter require "Sky Roscaelifer" frame. We visit a bar / music shop. "Ethereals"

Isolde, as you know, is an NPC, and so it's hard to give lore and infos about her to players since v2.5 as we didn't had any Obol Squad Focus since. And this is why they are giving us a message through the Mr Click event. Isolde hobbies, personality. What she likes.

• Isolde is a determined person, but deep inside, she is attentive and have distinguished tastes about flowers, foods, drinks and music. She is sensitive and very sophisticated about what she likes. She has a link to moon / night / water. She is filled with melancholy. This is the way for the events designer to make us learn more about Isolde, in the only way they can currently. The NPCs chosen along Isolde encounters aren't random. Definitely not random. When Mr Click spoke about burning and needing to be cooled down by water, it's a direct reference to Isolde stabbing herself with her own sword full of fire and miasma to turn into Defiler. The Water part refer to Defiiler arena, surrounded by water, her casting the great wave. v2.4 Achievements.
• But why the third encounter focus so much on ethereals? Mr Click don't even mention "Colonel" or "Isolde". Which hint at what I was saying. Miasma Priest is an ethereal. A miasma clone, a drowned ideal or maybe just a doppelganger. In game data, the miasma priest is an "Ether Mutant". This contradict what they were saying about Miasma priest being Isolde. Mevorakh has red wings, Miasma Priest don't. Mevorakh re-emerge from miasma sphere, so Miasma priest is likely a kind of remotely controlled miasma projection.
• Mr Click third encounter dialogue about a "Rare Side" do intrigue me. Should it be understand that Isolde make miasma clones of herself at night ? Or just that she is Isolde the day, but Mevorakh during the night ? The defiler enemy type is "Sacrifice", Defector is "Organic". How did she un-sacrifice herself ? Without saying, Defiler / Defector infos both signed "Tides of Miasma" Rising Tide for Defiler, Retreating Tide for Defector. So does this mean, that, in fact, the three miasma infused forms of Isolde are all illusions ? Miasma constructs ?

"Evil Suppressing Ink title" make sense against Miasma Priest, in 2.0, this is what it is, you fight miasma, a substance that seems to make peoples ill. Defiler is named "Treacherous journey end" maybe it's because to reinforce the Defector idea? But why just "Encounter" for defector? See. Whereas the two others titles have a negative connotation, Defector one is more neutral. You meet someone. Not evil or good. You met her first at a clock-tower plaza. The fact they put Miasma Priest in Ye Shiyuan arena reinforce the fact it's a Creator's creation. Mindless. No personality. Whereas putting Isolde in Clock-tower arena make it more like a friendly duel, an encounter. Just a fight.

By curiosity, I replayed the 9 possibilities of Memorable moments, to sum up what you see:

1. Yixuan, Miasma attack on wanfei, Mevorakh. Note that they use Mevorakh, not Isolde.
2. Yuzuha experiment backstory, Alice intervention, porcelumex and Miasmic fiend.
3. Isolde mostly, about porcelumex/lucro, the vengeance, memories...
4. Spook shack but focus on Manato, Yidhari and Lucia, but also mention Drowned Ideal.
5. Banyue, exaltists remnant, Ye Shiyuan, Dialyn and Sarah.
6. Ye Shunguang mostly, but mention of Lockspring and Sunbringer.
7. AOD focus, mention Cecila, speak about the group and music.
8. Promeia, Billy and Cissia, Tournament, Romeul, Promeia mission was about anomalies.
9. A lot of comment about transformation, Promeia says Remielle has ancient/dangerous air.
