I got out of class yesterday and opened reddit to see my own animation on my feed. At first I thought it was pretty cool because i'm not a huge stickler for people reposting or using my animations (I naively didn't bother using a watermark), but I then noticed the video was deliberately edited to remove the credits and also didn't even link to any of my original posts.

This post got 100x more upvotes than when I had posted it which was quite a shock. I tried to comment where to find the original full animation but it got pretty much buried at the bottom, and as a last resort I reported it to see if a sourced link could be pinned but nothing has yet to happen.

I think the worst part is the voice actors who did a really great job went unrecognized. Nekomata was voiced by Hapyr_ who did a really great job and has a ton of Zenless content on her channel you should check out, and in the full animation Belle was voice by VioletHayami who does the best Belle impression i've ever heard and can't praise enough.

but please, make sure to credit. I only animate as a hobby but many of the voice actors I work with are making it their career, and many other animators are in a similar position as well.

From his post, we also learned that the original ZZZ team had only 20 people, and that by the time the project reached its second anniversary, it had been in development for 6 years.

The artist himself had been nurturing the idea of developing a farming game for nearly 20 years. He had also shared this idea with Zhenyu two years earlier, which gave him the courage to finally make this decision.

Bonus: Although he has left, Atwo_A2 said that if Teacher Y ever gets turned into a meme, he’ll leak it into the ZZZ work chat group. In other words, they’ll still keep in touch and communicate with each other when necessary.
