It's easily the worst map. Going slow through a map and shooting mines on the ground just is not a fun game loop IMO. I rather it get replaced by something else. I'd rather have more soldier patrols or a helicopter you have to hide from and escape to apartments.

Edit: Most people are missing my point. I don't think it's hard. I agree the mines are easy to spot and go around. That isn't my point. I just find it boring and tedious. It's a chore and not enjoyable.

I'm at the bunker with several runs of Terminal under my belt. Only on Day 15 or so. Got armor plates and helmets coming out of my ass.

If I go to school with a level III or III+ Helmet and Armor plate and take 2-3 bullets from a Glock 17 my armor is just gone.

Now I'm not a gun nun and I don't play extraction shooters or Tarkov so this might be realistic. I just don't know.

Is there a mod to address this? Am I just crazy?

Side Note: I'm over a 100 hours in and just realized I've never been to Highway. I just got my first couple of Tunnel keys which I assume is in Highway. I've always just gone straight to School and then to Vostok. Just me?
