Weird blue checkmark/voice message behavior
Okay so this is the scenario: ive sent a friend of mine a voice message a few days ago and while they saw it (blue double checkmark), they supposedly didn't listen to it because the microphone did not turn blue.
We've exchanged a few messages after that and now i wait for them to see my latest message (from yesterday, currently on double grey checkmarks) while the microphone on that voice message still hasn't turned blue.
Now the strange part: a few hours ago I noticed that the voice message's microphone finally turned blue... but the later text message (the one they haven't seen yet) still has grey checkmarks. How is this possible?
I even checked as to when they 'listened' to the voice message and it said it was in the middle of the night yesterday, which is highly unlikely.
Can anyone shine some light onto this mystery? Is there some bug that falsely displays when someone has listened to a voice message? And how do you view someone's chat without getting blue checkmarks while the option that disables this is turned off? So many questions.
