The virus would never work like the show acts like it would.
I have been thinking about the virus and every character’s assumptions about it, and it just won’t work like the show thinks it would. Everyone from Sameer to Sage thinks that once this thing is released it will end up killing all supes, but it is far too deadly to become a global pandemic.
From what little we have seen, almost as soon as it is released it kills its host, there is no time for it to incubate and spread. The boys might have had gas masks on but they walked out of the building with contaminated clothing on, and yet they were all clear of the virus.
Soldier Boy seemed to be sick from it and almost die, but moments later he is fine, and they don’t even bother to quarantine them while they do labs on him. Wouldn’t you know it, he is clear of the virus as well.
So we have a super death virus that kills its intended host instantly and cannot spread even asymptomatically to non supe and non V2 supes. So how is using it as a one time weapon supposed to cause a worldwide supe genocide?
