I had nasal polypectomy two days ago, doctor told me the surgery will be 30 to 45 minutes but it took three hours and another half hour in the resus ( woke up with ecg patches in my body) and I didn't get to meet my doctor after to ask why it took so long , the Nasal packing was removed after 24 hours from the surgery, I bleed instantly and I'm still bleeding till now, Not continuously, but every four or five hours I find bright red blood coming out of my mouth or nose. Is this normal? I have a saline rinse to use five times a day, and with each use the bleeding gets worse should I stop using it?
