i dont really know how best to describe it more than the title. I have a MAG301RF Ultrawide 27 inch monitor. it doesnt include built in speakers however it does have a headphone jack. im trying to connect my xbox 360 s to the monitor with a HDMI 2.1 cable and use my external speakers with the headphone jack. video output is perfect but there is no sound output at all. i have plugged both my speakers and headphones into the jack and its not outputting audio at all. is this an issue with the headphone jack itself? do i need to install some firmware update or drivers? or is this just how the monitor works?
i can get around the issue on my pc as my motherboard has a 3.5mm jack but my xbox doesnt have one built in.
