The new item power increase is throwing me off. Which of these is better?

The new item power increase is throwing me off. Which of these is better?

Should I wait until I temper the right one? Is it even worth the change?

When I put it on my toughness goes from 331,091 to 156,598

I'm on eternal so it's a carry over from last season that I haven't changed out.

For other items at what point should I swap over to level 900 gear? 900 Item power Melted Heart of Selig dropped recently but I have nothing that works well with it currently. So I've just stuck with my 800 item power amulet. Maybe I'm being too clingy with the items.

Remove life on kill, indestructible affixes. Add skill size affix and more visual settings.

Right now I'm seeing life-on-hit affixes that far surpass what life on kill is giving. So it feels useless to have it and it's even less useful on bosses even with the adds. (Edit) A buff or adjustment to the two life-on affixes would be better.

Indestructible feels like a sin to have, not once has my equipment broke, and repairing is so cheap anyway so what's the point? It feels awful when it rolls on a piece of gear that shows promise.

Instead remove them and add something interesting like aoe/skill size range. Some skills could do with a nerf to their screen coverage (looking at you Warlock) (Edit) A gold gain stat would be an alternative. At least this way players have something instead of being a "you save a few thousand by not repairing." On hardcore this stat means nothing. Gold gain benefits both types of players while functionally remaining the same and only marginally better.

Add visual settings that let you adjust skill opacity for self, team, and other players. Just a simple opacity slider that lets you adjust how clear some skills are, that's all.
