Learned my lesson
I was making my first ever semi-clean manifold. I started playing a couple of weeks ago. And i coulnd't for the life of me figure out why the power-productions stopped after the 4th Generator. After literally two hours of trouble shooting, checking belts, checking miners, checking wires, checking pumps and waterflows, checking EVERYTHING...So after verbally abusing ChatGPT for a good while, I tried googling if somebody had same issues and find a comment 7 YEARS AGO which happend to say:
>I was having an issue with a splitter running slow and I figured out why. If you place a >splitter over an existing line then upgrade the connecting conveyors, there will be one >standard conveyor inside the splitter that will slow everything down
It dawned on me, that's what i did... so i checked. And sure enough, a little tiny mk1 belt piece was stuck inside the first splitter, and thus slowing down everyting and halfing my manifold...
So, from now on. I'm not going to be placing splitters/mergers directly ON a already exisiting belt.
Ty for coming to my ted talk, loving the game so far!
