I’m a bit confused about Birkenstock Boston colors/materials and wanted some opinions.

I was in Thailand recently and saw a pair of Boston clogs that I really liked. I specifically asked for taupe, got them, and loved the color. I even wore them around a bit there (you can see it in the photos). The color looked lighter and kinda sandy/beige.

But now I ordered another pair in Germany, also supposed to be taupe, and the color is way darker. So now I’m confused:

Which color is actually taupe?
Was the Thailand pair maybe a different color/material?
Which one looks more authentic/real?
And honestly, which one do you think looks better?
Would appreciate any help because I feel like Birkenstock colors/materials are more confusing than I expected 😅
