I sort of pictured someone like the actor Kyle Allen when picturing Darrow (post-transformation). He also did a movie where he had long curly hair and that made me think he could pull off the Cassius look as well. Obviously, in both cases he would have to dye his hair blonde since he'd be trying to look like a Gold.

We've already experienced this with the terrible MPJ contract. Now, the Christian Braun contract is limiting the moves that the Nuggets can make in the offseason and before the trade deadline. It doesn't make sense to pay a glorified role player who isn't a reliable scorer $25 million a year when we could have 3-4 quality bench guys signed for the same amount. (Bruce Brown, Tim Hardaway Jr. types).

I get that the main fear that GMs have is that if they don't pay a player they will walk and sign with another team. However, I don't think that's a problem. If a guy is not one of your top 3 guys, you should be willing to let him walk if he demands too much money. Christian Braun type of players are plentiful in the NBA. The goal of any GM should be to lock down the 2-3 top guys and remain flexible with the rest since you can often gain more by signing quality bench guys.

We saw that this playoff series with our bench players outplaying our starters for the most part. I'd prefer that we prioritize keeping guys like Spencer Jones and Julian Strawther and giving them significant minutes. For example, last night I would have preferred Strawther to be out there over Jamal Murray since Murray was playing like trash and kept confidently shooting. Maybe Adelman was afraid to bench Murray for someone like Strawther, but those are the kinds of decisions that a coach needs to make to win, when necessary.

Anyways, sorry for going on this long rant. I'm just frustrated with our team being locked up in terrible contracts to guys who don't produce when it matters.

Not trying to attack him. He's my current favorite player. However, why does he just stand there and put in zero effort most of the time? Last night it was frustrating to watch him just stand there or move out of the way while a smaller player made a shot attempt in the paint.

These would be easy blocks for Wemby. For some reason Jokic was more willing to attempt to block Gobert than any other Timberwolves player last night. Was he worried about drawing a foul? I think the refs would have given him some grace if he tried it since they dont like to foul out a team's best player.

Anyways, this is the most frustrating part of Jokic's game; his lack of effort on defense.
