Foxess 5kw inverter capped at 3kw discharge after update
Hi all,
Looking for some advice as I've run into a bit of a brick wall. Had my Foxess batteries and inverter installed in January this year, all worked fine with the batteries able to discharge at 5kw if required. However I recently had a stale work schedule that stopped me from creating or changing any schedules at all.i contacted Foxess and they noted that my firmware was out of date and updated it. From this point on the inverter won't discharge at anything greater than 3kw but still charges at 5kw.
I've contacted Foxess as well but they're saying it's probably a faulty install or a ct clamp not being installed correctly and I need to get my installer out to fix it. Im not sure how this can be the case as it was working fine before and I have the data to show it discharging at 5kw before this firmware update. But I contacted my installer asking for.their advise but they have gone radio silent and I can't get ahold of them.
Anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions?
