Tikka Ace Target 26" 6.5 cm continues to perform....

With just under 200 rounds through it so far, I continue to be impressed with this rifle's performance & value.

I know it's only 6 shots, but ... wow. Cold bore plus five more, bench rest. I was checking ballistic solution and warming it up for the 600 yd steel gongs. Hornady HDOF solutions were spot on today, only periodic light gusts of wind <5mph. Right after this, was able to bang the 6" steel six straight at 600 yds. Will stretch it out to 1000 yds in the next session or two. Fun!

80 rounds in... Tikka Ace Target 26", 6.5 creedmoor

Newb, but having fun. Need to work on my dope (the Hornady app solutions need adjustments that eluded me today) and windage and etc. skills, but not a bad second session with my first bolt gun. Finished by banging the 6" gong at 300 six times in a row, then tried at 600 only one out of three before calling it a day.

80 rounds in - Tikka Ace Target 26" - 6.5 creedmoor

Still learning the ropes with my first long distance rifle. Had my second session today stretching out to 600 at the end. Groups are OK, but using the Hornady app my come up and windage dope are not well baked yet. Banged the gong a couple of times at 600 yds after qualifying at 300, but not yet consistent.

Tikka Ace Target in 6.5 Creedmoor, took it out yesterday for first shots for both the rifle and for me with a bolt gun. Steady 10 mph wind right to left with with 15 mph gusts. After the initial zero it performed pretty well using Hornday ELD Match 140gr - given my inexperience. The rifle can no doubt do much better with a skilled pilot.
