Just got my ecu back after getting it flashed by a reputable shop. Took it for a test drive and it's having an interesting issue I was hoping to get some help with. I got it flashed because I put a full exhaust on and it wasn't running the best with the stock tune.
It's running well now except when under heavy throttle, I don't know how to describe it exactly but for example in 2nd gear at around 3.5k rpm if I open the throttle a lot, the power will come on smoothly but after a second it's like the power just disappears for fraction of a second and then it slams back on and almost pulls up the front wheel. This sometimes happens 1 or 2 times but once it's high in the rev range and I back off the throttle it's fine.
The bike has been sitting all winter with fuel stabilizer in the tank, not sure if that's relevant. My first reaction is to take a look at the fuel filter then pump and maybe plugs. I also considered it might be a worn out clutch but when the power cuts the rpm's don't jump.
Anyway I'm not a mechanic, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
