So quick backstory. Husband got hurt at work last march. He was on workman’s comp. He came back to work, and was let go. (Workman’s comp attorney is on it but it will be a while. He is also fighting to get his unemployment.) So as things stand we are living on my pay. I’m a teacher for head start so it’s not great.

Now. On to the story. Last Friday my brother wanted me to babysit for him so he and his girlfriend could go to the rodeo. I told him I work until 5 but I can come after that. I get up at 530 every day to get farm work done, lunches packed, and to get to work on time. Get to his house a bit after 5, they leave. Kiddos had not eaten yet, so I bathed them, fed them dinner and made up their beds. We played and I got them to bed at a decent time. They came home at 130am and then tell me they overspent and don’t have money to pay me anything. I said “Oh. Uh okay I’m going home now.”

Now they are going to the fair this weekend. So they have rodeo money, and fair money but they couldn’t even shoot me over $20 for watching their toddlers at a moments notice. I’m just so over it. It fucked up my sleep I wasted my time and got nothing for it. I went to work today and I am tired tired tired.
