For EoE with recurring strictures, I was prescribed one injection every two weeks. It worked, then the effects faded two months later. I then read all the fine print about the medication inside the box. Very clearly it states that for adults with EoE the appropriate dose is one injection ONCE PER WEEK.

I had two GI doctors and one dermatologist not be aware of this. EoE is the only condition that has once per week instead of twice a month. It took a couple of months to start being prescribed the four pens a week. I had to run out the script by getting free samples from the dermatologist. Felt much better on full dose.
