I sold 4 of my largest items to a customer. When he received them he said 3 were fine and 1 was broken. I asked if the box was damaged and to please send photos of everything so I could file a claim. He sends photos of the damaged product but not the box and claims there was nothing wrong with the box. This is a 3D printed item and for it to break like in the pics he sent, would've required some major force or hit/damage to the box.

I asked him to please send photos of the box so I could open a claim with UPS but now he states that it was trash day and the box is gone.

I'm not buying this excuse but what can I actually do? I can't open a claim without showing the shipping box can I?
