Mysid shrimp with Opae ula
These guys might eat Opae larva, but dont live long enough for it to matter (like 6 months). My Opae won’t be breeding for a while. Sorry for poor focus, my phone is buns

Inshallalah they won’t become Opae food (or food for the four other filter feeders in my tank)
This is either Gnorimosphaeroma rayi or oregonensis. They are peaceful detritivores and get along well with my Opae. Seem to be breeding, but I can’t identify any offspring (they are very small).
They’re not a huge fan of light (they come from murky water under a rock), so I have many hiding spots, and only ever see a few at a time.
They were collected in 1.010 SG, alkaline water.
The larger male picks up the smaller female and carries her around. Rival male detects the sex. Tries to steal her. Ball mode.
Egg-bearing (not visible) female in the background.
Got the outlet pointed at the wall, wondering if itll bother my shrimps.
Is this biofilm?? It was so cloudy yesterday from fresh aragonite sand - why is it suspended now?!
Would they be suitable tank mates for Opae Ula? Setting up a 30 gallon and thinking about sourcing some.
