Curious if other people have noticed their baggage not being delivered within the allotted 20 minutes on Hawaiian flights? My understanding was that the Alaska guarantee covered those flights as well now they they have merged.

Took about 35 minutes last night (from arrival at gate) at SMF to get our bags..but unfortunately baggage claim offices were closed at 9pm to make a claim. Didn't time it at arrival in OGG the week before, but it was delayed their too and at both locations the Alaska app and arrival boards had the baggage claim location info incorrect.

Have to love how out of touch management at State Agencies can be...

The Directorate would like to offer coffee, cuties, and an opportunity for staff to reconnect on September 2nd. 

There will be coffee, fruit, and protein bars available in the lobby of Building for staff as they arrive to work or stop by on a break. 

"All staff are welcome stop by on your way in or during a break!"

If no 30 day notice is given by your Division, does that mean RTO isn't effective July 1st? Unfortunately my Division has given it but others at CDPH have not.

Has there been a consensus on what this means?

Was this the year they planned to pay us for June on July 1 instead of June 30? I recall something last year that it was budget trick to further balance the 2025 budget (only 11 paychecks vs the normal 12).

Or did I imagine that?

Also..the side letter is still confusing as hell to me. Did we (BU1) give up a raise on July 1, 2026 this year?

My state department has individual Centers that oversee Divisions. Today, we were emailed by our Center that effective June 15th, everyone was required to work a 8-5 schedule in office M-TH and telework the same hours on Fridays.

Anyone else know of or deal with this? Does is not have to be a Department wide rule to be enforced? I know section 19.8 in the SEIU contract talks about alternate schedules, but my Center is denying all requests. ​​It also appears that my Center is the only one doing this fixed schedule for all employees thing.

25+ year state employee here and I've never seen this before. ​
