Micromanagement in Battle

Hey! Maybe some of you can help me to get better unit control in battles.

  1. Usually at the start of the battle I group Infantry, ranged units, cavalry on the flanks each in one group and arrange my army. If the enemy starts in a weird corner of the map and I have to rotate my entire formation I have to put all units in one group lock formation, rotate and than create seperate groups again. Is there any easier way to rotate the entire army with seperate groups?

  2. Is there something like an attack mode? I usually lock the formation with my infantry and send them behind the enemy. If I‘m busy microing cavalry sometimes infantry just walks past the battle. I know I can pause and choose a target for each infantry unit to attack but maybe there is an easier way.

  3. Is there a way to make archers/onagers shoot units further in the back to avoid friendly fire without micromanaging them? Or even just an area as a target?
