As the title implies, im really weird about saying people’s names out loud to them. Ill refer to them by name if im talking about them to someone else, since you kinda have to for clarity reasons, but when the person is around id rather call them over or point at them than say their name out loud, im always acting like im surrounded by fairies 😭
Only reason i ever say peoples names to them is when i need their attention urgently in public 🥲 otherwise i use pet names, “bro”, “buddy” or “boss” or just “you” if i dont know them very well 😭
I dont understand why but i always feel like its too aggressive and.. personal? Even though that makes no sense since your name is one of the more public parts of a person but i always feel like im yelling out the color of their underwear 😭
