MIL and her random crap
What do I do with my mother in law ?
She is constantly bringing stuff for the baby, but nothing useful. This week she brought her a Pez dispenser, piñata and ugly bows. Last week was McDonald’s toys and bunny toys where a tiny ball pops out of its mouth.
I dont like clutter in my house, I really don’t like anything that a newborn can’t use and will eventually choke on. Her house is messy and cluttered and on top of “baby” stuff she brings stuff for my husband and teenage kids. My teens are polite and say thank you but ask me what to do with the random crap. So now we have extra random crap.
Yesterday’s I said, a really good thing for the baby is books. They are safe and promote bonding, you can read them to her. Then she brought her Komonos (which is fine because baby is half Japanese and they will go bon dances) but now I have to store them and they won’t fit her until she is like 5 and she’s a newborn….
Ugh…..😩
