This car has been sitting on the lot at my local dealership for 162 days. It is clearly not selling; talked them down from 36k to 34k + TTF.
I'd be trading in beloved '16 GTI for it. About to cross 100k and having a few too many issues. Coolant leak fixed 3 times last year. Sunroof has been collecting water and depositing passenger side on turns during rainy season, and as of this morning is now not even closing all the way; half an inch left open on the driver's side...and it's going to rain today.
I was eyeballing the new Tiggy Turbo but those problems give me pause. Figure I can lease this for a few years while they sort out those issues.
34k for a near-GTI level performance feels acceptable on a vehicle that is clearly not moving, but...what say the fans here. Any regrets with yours, or jump right in?
I feel as if the only thing I'll miss is the hatch. I haven't had a trunk in 20 years.
Edit to ask: how are the ventilated seats? That would be a new experience for me, and here in the South probably a welcome one.
Would my daughter miss not having rear facing AC vents?
