Battlefield 6 performance issues

Does anyone here play large game types on Battlefield 6?

Lately I have been having a lot of performance issues. Mostly “time nudge” issues, low FPS, lag, etc.

I thought it was related to the vram allocation, but the problem didn’t go away no matter my settings.

Anyone else?

I made a post yesterday about Battlefield 6 and other games not working properly. I think I found the culprit.

When the Intel app is set to auto (18gb VRAM) it allocates the FULL 18gb to VRAM when I start a game. I can see this in Battlefield 6; it used to show 128mb of VRAM in the game settings, and the system would adjust VRAM as needed, but now it shows the full 18gb. This is causing the system to be starved for regular RAM.

I adjusted it to 12gb max VRAM, and now the game shows that I have 12gb.

I have everything updated. Not sure how to fix it so the VRAM automatically adjusts again. For now, I’ll probably limit VRAM to 8-12gb.

Anyone else seen this issue?

Anybody else having issues with BF6? I have all the latest updates (Windows, Intel, MSI, etc).

Suddenly my game runs like crap. After a few minutes of playing large game types, the FPS takes a dive and the GPU utilization starts jumping around like mad. I get low FPS and latency icons, and the game is unplayable.

I’ve checked temps and nothing looks out of the ordinary.

I also tried a DDU and reinstall of the graphics driver, as well as verified the game files.

I have the TDP maxed out… no idea what’s going on here.

Claw 8ai btw

Edit: I’m going to try resetting to factory defaults and updating everything tomorrow. Something is off. All games seem to have lost performance.
