Im starting from the bottom. I’m familiar in the sense that I’ve been in some well put together vans and lurked in this community for a while. I’ve been looking for a project and this seems perfect. My job is at a millwork so I’ve unlimited access to word and material. I feel like in this economy many vans may be on the market givin the high gas cost. I’m not to familiar with the various different models and sizes of vans. I know there’s lots of options to start from being a utility or conversion van. What are some pros and cons of starting with differing van models? I camp/hike a lot so I’m very happy sleeping in a hammock. I wouldn’t need a full sized bed. Is there a place that has different floor plan mockups? Also thoughts on diesel/biofuel conversions? Generators? It’d be perfect for traveling and hiking as I do a ton of foraging/mushroom hunting. Just trying to get an idea of what I want as far as a base van. Thanks!
