Hi everyone! Possible stupid question

Last week I left my plastic bowl on a hot coil burner by mistake while cooking dinner. I've tried everything to get the plastic off the coils but it's not working. My question (again I'm sorry if this is dumb I'm new to owning a home) am I able to take my broken one into the store to compare sizes? The closest lowes is about 45 minutes from me so I didn't want to not bring it when in fact I could. Thank you so much!
