After watching Interstellar again, I finally realized how to word my question correctly. I can wrap my head around the “distant galaxy, different time” schtick, but how is the time dilation working on a cellular level? The whole entire plot of interstellar w from Cooper’s perspective took place over a few months, an outside of the two year to three years that he was in cryosleep to get to Saturn, I can’t understand how his body did not age at a significant level because his daughter aged almost 85 years from the last time that he saw her and the entire plot was only 6 to 9 months for him when their cells are similar!
