Hoping to go black with this painted aluminum truck cap. What’s the most durable DIY friendly route?
Aluminum ARE cap currently painted white. I’ve researched prep thoroughly and plan to sand it down and clean with acetone or similar degreaser, but beyond that I feel u could use some help!
It’s due to be refreshed and I’d like to change the colour over to all black.
Roll on bed liner is appealing due to the durability of the finish and the minimal taping required with the roll on application. I’m not opposed to the textured look of bed liner but I’m reading a lot about it fading or chipping over time.
Any help from the pros would be greatly appreciated.
