Brainstorm Ponder Sickness
Today I played a Legacy Tournament with friends. Sadly I couldn't win even a single game. I played UB Deaths Shadow und UR Steel Cutter, both utilizing the common blue shell, with FoW, Daze, Ponder, Brainstorm and Murktide Regent. Both decks play few creatures and try to protect them with countermagic. Throughout the day it felt like I was always missing either the countermagic or the threat.
Long story short I am not sure whether its bad luck, or my lack of skill, or whether this blue shell is just not for me.
I really hated drawing Ponder and Brainstorm today and asked myself whether you have experience with a lower cantrip count in this blue shell and compensate them with more threats. Maybe you have a good read regarding ponder and brainstorm.
