Hi, how do you sign docs with your co-founder if he/she is from another country (not US) or a citizen of another country? Are there any red flags concerning these things while applying? Do you confirm what legislation applies? And how is IP protected in this case (on the territory of another country, co-founder’s one, for example)?

(I understand some countries are under sanctions, not this case of course, I mean generally acceptable countries).

Hi, I am of those lucky ones who had the best friend from early childhood up till now, my adult life. I had different boyfriends, but as I reflect my choice, I always had that blurry comparison to my bestie, that a boyfriend should be at least that interesting as my bestie, should have similar sense of humor, be accurate the same way, admire me, understand, be creative and with that rebel spirit that my bestie had.

The guys that I dated were similar to her but not 100%.. we even had a joke like “If one of us would be born as a man we shouldn’t have had to find a boyfriend”. The person I am with now came out to be the most similar to my bestie and I’m happiest with him now. And I am very glad that our relations do not contain those roles, that are usually implied to men and a women in relations, like “he’s working, she’s cleaning”. You know, you never behave like this with your friends. (Sorry for simplifying but do not want to write too long, I hope you get me). And here I understand why I was always looking for those “friend-reminded” relationships and a person similar to my bestie.

Just curious, what are your stories? Have you ever felt and discovered the same? If not, what is your ideal is based on?

Hi, everyone, it’s supposed that the business side co-founder usually takes the lead in the outer relations with customers and vcs. What about internal relations with the team? Do you feel as a biz side cofounder that you also lead all the team? Push through? Write, remind, etc…
