Entering the mangroves on the Osa Peninsula 🌿
One of my favorite parts of southern Costa Rica.
Reaching our jungle lodge through mangrove channels never gets old.

Sometimes getting somewhere on the Osa Peninsula already feels like part of the adventure.
We sometimes place simple cameras along the rainforest trails near our lodge on the Osa Peninsula, and last night this beautiful ocelot showed up crossing the bridge 🙂
Hi, what do you means about the way Kochkor - ush. Without a rental car what to on the way.
Captured yesterday on our trail camera near the jungle on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica 🙂
At first we weren’t sure what it was, but after reviewing the daytime footage we’re now wondering if this could actually be a jaguarundi or maybe a coati.
Long tail, low body, dark coloration, medium size. Curious what others think.
Captured at night / day around our jungle lodge on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica 🙂
We first thought it might be a jaguarundi, but now we’re not sure.
Unfortunately we don’t have a great size reference, but it looked medium-sized with a long tail.
Captured this last night around our jungle lodge on the Osa Peninsula.
The nighttime wildlife here is honestly one of the coolest parts of staying in the jungle.
