Local MMA fighters KC

I'm a fan of martial arts and MMA, not thinking too much about the actual UFC but what local promotions around here are worth buying a ticket to go see and who are some local fighters making waves in the medium to smaller promotions around here?

Glitch Gratitude

I've been a fan of Glitch since tadc's pilot. I have always been a fan of comics/manga/cartoons/animation and I never thought how great the 2020s would be for this era of not only animation as a whole but indie especially. From watching HH and HB in final months of 2019 and before the pandemic I was amazed by what I saw.

From then on people like Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack also pioneered this era and Glitch; Glitch truly is amazing for the number of chances they take on shows that never got the proper opportunity.

With the gameoverse especially, the dedication to Monty made me remember who he was when I watched RWBY and how great indie animation was during that period too. RubberRoss had a bit over a decade of being told no to his idea and then Glitch came along and once again gave them a Golden opportunity.

I guess what I mean to say as a mid 30s animation fan is thank you Glitch for making these times fun, entertaining, and giving hope to an entire generation of animators who have amazing ideas we haven't even seen. You've shown that major studios aren't the end all be all.

I look forward to what opportunities you bring into the industry and how many dreams will be realized in the years to come.

Men's clothing store: suits

Guys what are your recommendations for getting a decent suit from a large selection at an ok price around the metro?

For context, I've only really ever bought dress clothes and suits at JCPenney which has kept me well for interviews in the past, certain events, networking, or going out on a fancy date. Now though, I'd like to step it up and get myself something nice.

What made you a vaga?

Hey there vagas, I wanted to know how did you end up in your vaga lifestyle and journey?

Was it by choice or no choice, pros and cons, are people kind to you, and any interesting or just wtf stories in your adventures?

Choosing not to roll with someone

I've never done this myself bc at my academy when I've gone I generally have had no issue rolling with whoever but have any of you ever outright just not rolled with a person?

If it was out of being tired that makes sense but if you haven't gotten along with someone or even just one particular person did it become a longer standing issue?

What are my options for styling this shirt?

Bought this bc it was on clearance, gave me some disco vibes, and overall a cool shirt. I was thinking of wearing some chinos with it or even using it as my dress shirt when wearing a suit. What are your opinions on colors and patterns that go with this or even specific clothing?

Am I crazy or is this just... too weird.. Has anybody been? Like yes a driving school and social security office were kind of strange additions to the mall, but this seems like... come on?

EDIT: the earthbound sign is just leftover! the store didn't do this lol

I was just wondering if we had street fighter areas in KC what would be your choice of a fight stage, why, and who would be in the background?

Me personally, the roof top of the western auto building at night with a bunch of rave folks just vibing in the background. It's iconic.

I have a friend who's been put on a pip at their job where they've been at in their role a bit over 3 yrs. They had some family health issues go on some months back and all it really was them making small mistakes for a decent period of time. It took a toll on their mental health but their boss and coworkers do care about them. They showed me their copy of their pip, and all it really is just improvement for their current duties and I'm talking about real basic things which they can improve relatively quickly.

I myself have been out on a pip in the past where I knew they just wanted me out bc I screwed up really bad for the longest. Though, in my friend's case and from what I know about their boss, they genuinely care. They're on it for 90 days with weekly checks and about a week before they were placed on it they improved each day at what they were doing.

I would like to give my friend hope bc I know the toll it can take and they're not super worried surprisingly. If it means anything the place they work at is a small office with less than 20 or so people and their boss genuinely is helping them.

Me I find it hard to believe bc it it can be a facade but I think if they keep it up the way they are, they'll succeed and become a better employee.

Ur thoughts
