I’m traveling to the US for treatment through an NIH clinical trial on a B2 visa. The problem is I don’t know how long the evaluation/treatment process will take.

NIH told me they may provide accommodation after my eligibility is confirmed, but until then I’ll probably stay with my cousin, who’s a student there and rents an apartment.

Would that be okay for immigration purposes, or do I need hotel bookings?

Also unsure how to handle the return ticket since I don’t know when I’ll be coming back.
