Ringgenberg late July?
I’ll be in the Interlaken region in late July after a 6-day group hiking tour, and I’m looking for recommendations for a Swiss town to stay in for 5–6 days while working remotely (“digital nomad” style).
My priorities:
• Safe and comfortable for a solo female traveler
• Reliable/high-speed Wi-Fi for remote work
• Beautiful scenery and easy access to hiking trails
• Prefer quieter/less crowded towns (I know it’s peak season so this rules out a bunch of famous towns)
• Ideally within ~2.5 hours of Zürich Airport by train
Right now I’m considering places like Ringgenberg, Unterseen, Weggis, or possibly Mürren…but really want to avoid crowds. I’m leaning towards Ringgenberg. The lake looks beautiful and I see lots of great day hiking options.
Any pros or cons to Ringgenberg that I should know? Thanks 😊
Also open to “you’re overlooking this town entirely” suggestions.
