First photo is right before my first reduction April 2025. The after is 2 weeks post op 2nd reduction. I am SO thrilled. THIS is how I was supposed to look! I’m so glad I advocated for what I wanted even if it took a second surgery.
But does amazing work. I just need to vent.
I have had 2 reductions. The first one was the beginning of April 2025. Not sure how big I was pre-surgery, but he took about 200ish grams from both breasts and lifted them. They did look much better, however I was still too large for most store bought bras. I was measuring at a 32 F one year after the surgery. I did do my best to be clear that I wanted SMALL, as small as possible. I made it clear at each post op appointment they were too big- so he scheduled a revision.
I had the revision done on 4/24. He did a liposuction revision and removed wedges from the bottom. He removed more than 600 cc’s per breast. So far they look bruised, but great. I am measuring around a 32 C, but still swollen- I think I could end up a B, he thinks an A. There is no skin on skin, he shaped them wonderfully. I’m pretty sure once I’m healed and out of the compression bras I should be able to go bra free if I want, I should be able to fit into any top I want, I should be able to go into a store and just buy a bra, and I might even be able to run and jump and move in a way I haven’t been able to do in decades. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I think he created the cutest fashion boobs ever.
Had my first preop appointment with him yesterday. He made it clear he doesn’t like them. He called them flat. I defended them. He again said they are flat, still swollen but flat. He said I’m disproportionately small for my size- I told him that was exact what I wanted. I have spent my adult life being disproportionately large for my size and I’m fine with experiencing the opposite. His attitude shouldn’t bother me. I got the boobs I wanted and asked for. I think they look great, and I know I am going to feel great once I no longer have to always work around them and try to accommodate them or spend a fortune looking for bras and shirts to contain them…….but it does annoy me that he can’t see how great they turned out.
Had my first reduction done one year ago, was a lollipop reduction. The results looked great and did remove some weight, but I was measuring 32F and still having a hard time with bras. I am now 6 days post op from a revision liposuction reduction with wedges removed from the bottom. The bruising is crazy and I’m still swollen AF- but feel and look way smaller. I am measuring around 32D, so I won’t be surprised to end up being a B cup in the end. My first surgery, I was feeling a bit too big post op. I initially felt too small when I first saw them after this surgery, but I’m thrilled as could be right now. I felt prepared for frankenboobs, but they looked more like corpse boobs initially because of the intense bruising.
