DCS577 Wormdrive 60v Circular Saw: Ever on sale? Experiences?
I have a strong preference for the wormdrive style (and left blade) and go with the 60v whenever I can. It's only $30 more than the DCS578 sidewinder based on MSRP but the 578 is often a part of the Home Depot BOGO sales, like right now you get a 6Ah 60v battery for free. I've watched the past few sales and the 577 hasn't been included.
Current price difference if I returned the battery in the BOGO is $329 for the DCS577 and $165 for the DCS578. Very hard to justify paying twice as much for the 577 vs the 578 just for ergonomic and style preference! It's not an urgent need, just curious if it does get included in a sale and is rare or if (for whatever reason) it just never happens.
I'm also curious if anyone has the 577 and absolutely hates it for whatever reason, that would make my decision easier too ha
