Does anyone ever take time to appreciate how beautiful these impacts look or is it just me?

I posted a thread) about picking this up at Lowes for $199, which I thought was a pretty good deal. DCD801 Drill, 2 4 AH Powerpacks, charger and bag.

I had been eyeing a similar deal Home Depot had for $200 on clearance. I happen to check last night, and just as thought, it was reduced further. all stores around me reduced to $134 and almost all have some stocl available.

My store had a few in bottom shelves, but quite a few in the overhead rack.

Killer deal, I think. check your local stores

Anyone have any regular flexvolt 9ah batteries that don't work? As long as the cases are in nice shape. Going to try rebuilding a few. I posted last week looking for some oil resistant flexvolt batteries, but didn't have any luck finding dead ones. I'd still like to get the oil resistant version, but either will work.

Hi all! Just wanted to share an update on my Dewalt investment. I'm new to this and have been adding as I go and discover tools I need that I don't have. There are many I've not used yet, my initial purchase consisted of a list of initial power tools I thought I'd need. So far I've used the drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw, compact reciprocating saw, compact hedge trimmer and work light. All have performed beautifully!

How legit are they??

I got this 3.5ah PS battery a couple of months ago, and I wish I had more money to buy more. The 8ah XR that came with the grinder doesn't have the same oomf oomf!

What am I missing? Why would HD be clearancing these out? This is at the HD in St. Joseph, MO. I already have more 20V batteries than I do DeWalt's 20V tools, so I passed.

My sander keeps sanding the most in the middle, and even after replacing the pad it has the same problem. With how the sander works, there’s a spinning mechanism in the center that bulges out, and if I screw the pad in all the way tight, it starts to bulge out in the center of the pad. If I loosen it, the pad becomes flat but it wobbles like crazy and sounds like it’s rubbing against the rubber. Is there anything I can do?

It looks like Lowes has this drill available for $199 in two variants, one includes 4 ah 2 pack XR batteries, the other one, a 5 ah XR battery.

I'm leaning towards the bundle with the two 4 ah powerpacks, guess two is better than one less ah? is this a decent drill/choice? looking for something to pair with a DCD1007 and a bit more compact?
