What's up with this kit?

I was browsing the HD page to see prices on the ATOMIC installation driver kit (803) and ended up stumbling upon this weird listing and it's my first time seeing it too. Anyone have any idea of when it is that this listing might have been posted or when it is that it went out of stock?

Is this a good deal on the DCF860?

Kit comes with the 4Ah tabless. You guys reckon we'll get better price drops in the future? I am seariously considering on getting the 860 because my buddy won't shut up about how great his 870 is lol But since I already have the Milwaukee gen 4 I think I need more than just a 70 dollar markdown to justify the purchase 🤣 Thoughts?

The price on this DCBP315-2C is fair imo

Bought this for 160 on "clearance" two months ago. Love the consistency POWERSTACK batteries deliver. This pair, to me, is perfect because you get duration with the 5Ah pack, along with the lightness of the 1.7Ah.

What do you guys think about the price?

What's your opinion on the Mid Torque 2962P-20?

Ok guys... Full disclosure here: This' an impulse buy because I saw this last week with a markdown going for $215 at my local HD. Also, got it because I had been looking for a 1/2in torque wrench for some time now, and liked the numbers I saw on the box.

Don't get me wrong though, for things like lug nuts? This thing takes on them like they were nothing! NGL here, it did take me by surprise when I saw just HOW FREAKING FAST this thing undoes them! So, with its power, I imagine it should be able to take on 99% of things, including 35mm + axle nuts on cars.

Thing is, I've been doing some after-the-fact research to see how far this thing can go... But... I've come across SO. MANY. DIFFERENT. OPINIONS that I just need to ask anyone with experience with this tool: How's it behaved? You think it's plenty good for someone that will take on weekend DYI repairs on their cars? How has this tool behaved with rusty 35mm + axle nuts and other bolts?

I've seen lots of folks saying that money is better spent on the DeWalt DCF891 / 892, and I've seen some channels testing these against the Milwaukee and getting about 100 more pounds both in forward and reverse on the DeWalt. But, does it really make a difference? Or, is it just "flare" on DeWalt's part?

Honestly? I've been liking this tool so far because of: how fast it takes on doing and undoing the lug nuts on my cars, how it feels in my hand, how light it is, the positioning and brightness of the LED lights, and because of how good its anvil takes on all the sockets I already own.

Hope someone can give me their input! 🤧

In love with the DCD794 (3 month review)

Got it some two - three months ago for exactly that, $99 + tax. I've used it non-stop for several tasks that require lots of precision and care. Just can't stop using it! Also, it's super light! And, to make things perfect, I always run it with a 1.7 Ah POWERSTACK. If you can get yourself to buy a POWERSTACK kit, I recommend getting the one that regularly goes on sale for 160 bucks or less that has a charger, one 5 and a 1.7 Ah ~

It's worth mentioning that it's behaved well when I've asked some "tough" things out of it like driving 6in deck screws into hard wood. Granted, it's slower than using a strong impact, but, again: used it only where I've needed precision and care.

Just be aware that this is not a Hammer / Percussion drill! That'd be its bigger brother, the DCD799. As a side note, I have used this to drill into brick! And yeah... It can do it lol Just, it doesn't seem to have a good time with concrete, cinder blocks or reinforced concrete lol

PS. posting this because two of my buddies have already asked me my opinion on this driver and let me tell you, it's a DARN FINE tool for small and medium things! Hope my opinions on it help someone else out there still deciding on what small & cheap drill from DeWalt to get!

Buy the 2962P-20?

Nogales Mexican HD is running a sale event for this impact wrench. Once converted to USD, it'd be about 228 american pesos for it.

My buddy was telling me that this was a good tool but that he wasn't willing to use that money on a gen 2. I also know how much everyone praises the m12 3/8in stubby and the most recent 3/8in and 1/2in m18 models, so that makes me wonder whether it's even worth it for me to be wanting to get it.

Thoughs? Worth it? Bad deal? Good tool compared to newest releases?

Thinkin of sellin my DCD996

Bought the DCD794 and DCH113B with the Memorial Day discounts at the HD and now I don't know what to do with my DCD996 (which I got back in 2019's Black Friday for ~200 as a kit with the DCF887 and the 6AH FLEXVOLT Battery) because it seems like I have everything it could ever possibly do covered with the first two tools (plus I scored a 4th generation red colored impact driver for ~167 at my local HD 🤣).

I legit am considering selling it because for as much as I have been thinking of scenarios where I could make use of it these past couple of days, I've miserably failed to come up with anything. I guess I don't really do anything where I could ever possibly get the best out of this particular tool.

What do you guys think??? I feel stuck on this one because I'd very much like this drill to have a life of use...
