M18 Inflator Hack?
Is it worth hacking the M18 inflator for $119.48 or are there better deals to be had?
I already have the M12 inflator but I'd like to add the M18 version to the fleet.

I plan on being a home owner within a year or so. Should I keep this order or cancel? Just for more info I already have 5 M12 batteries.
A couple of days ago I went out to my garage & noticed the fans on my m18 super charger model #: 48-59-1815 were running continuously even without any batteries on it. It hasn’t always done this. So I am concerned it may be an issue.

I've been eyeing the mower for a long time but always seemed too expensive.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question! New to red tools, what is the community's opinion on this product?
Thank y'all in advance!
Edit: asking because I want a gyroscopic screwdriver 🪛
I want to buy this as a gift because I know my boyfriend would love it. However, I know nothing about tools. Can someone please explain what the different anvil sizes mean? Does this tool also need the different size pieces you would attach to a normal ratchet? Please explain this tool to me like I'm tool illiterate (which is 100% accurate).
Grabbing the installation driver for some upcoming cabinet builds. Need a few spare batteries too. Only have a few tools in the M12 line. Has anyone found any of the free tools to be surprisingly worthwhile.
And Looking 👀 sharp /s
Thanks for all the laughs earlier today…
All jokes aside I will be switching my stuff over from pic 2/3 into pic 4…
by some time next week…
👍🏻 the milk crate has been my go box for a few years and it’s great but way to heavy has holes and no lid… I’ve put this off for to long…
Looking for opinions on what to get. These are kind of in a weird spot because now they have 550 ft/lbs which is crazy. It would be for a starting mechanic who wants something to be able to do lug nuts with a big battery, but also work generally all around the rest of the car (medium stuff, like exhausts & brakes). Not on anything crazy like axles. I don't have any sockets yet so I don't want to hear "whichever you have more sockets of" lol. Anyone own both? If so, which one do you reach for more often?
Passenger cars btw not trucks or anything
Thanks!
I have tried a lot of different things to get this out. Held chuck while powered in reverse, then took off the battery to go at it manually. The mixer was used on pottery glaze, so I've put WD-40 and warm water on it to try to loosen but absolutely no luck. If anyone has any other tips for trying let me know, otherwise if I take this to a Milwaukee dealer will they fix this type of issue?
UPDATE- I finally had success thanks to lots of great advice from y'all! Worked on this on and off throughout the entire day, after soaking the chuck in warm water to soften the glaze (not sure how much that truly helped), I took a hammer and hit the mixer all around the sides right near the chuck, as well as lightly hammered the far end (hitting it like a nail into the drill) and eventually with the help of some pliers it just loosened up. Thanks for taking time to comment, y'all saved a Milwaukee drill today from a fate of permanent paint mixing🫡
I went to pickup a light /
fan switch for a project and realized I forgot my utility and pocket knives this morning.
I saw the Milwaukee fastback 6in1s were discounted… so I grabbed a 2 pack and to my surprise they rang up for a penny…
So I went and bought the other 4 packs…
10 knives for 5 cents
I’m still a bit in shock…
Restoring this old pair of night stands and my 3y/o decided he wanted to help so he got the m12 multi tool and put the sander on it, worked surprisingly well!
Just got my first work bench. Just wondering if any body have any mods they did or I attachments I should buy.
Looking to buy these. Anyone have them and can give honest feedback would be great. Thanks.
overkill or just right?
Just got the light installed. Running off a Anker solar generator
Who sez Canadians don’t have good deals?
This is $240 Canadian plus taxes = $269 Canadian or under $200 USD for two M18 tools. I already have an unopened M12 hatchet so I guess someone is going to inherit this m12. Blower is 3017-20.! 500CFM. Already have one of those so this may be a spare
Today I received a text about my Milwaukee tool that I sent in for service. I decided to contact milwaukee to get some more information, so I called the number in the text, first to find out if the information was true and also to find a timeline on the order.
Upon calling the number it turned out to be a 'free hearing aid' scam attempt for the elderly.
Naturally I next called Milwaukee from the number on the website and to my surprise the text was real, and the agent gave me the same information.
Somehow Milwaukee themselves have entered their own number wrong, listing 1-800 as opposed to 1-877 for their Canadian number
Please make sure the number you are calling is correct. The support agent I spoke to was made aware of the issue.
I've got a small problem, and I'm hoping someone has a solution.
There are two scenarios where I travel for work, but both involve carrying some or all of my tools.
Scenario 1: I have enough to do where I take a lot of packout equipment. The problem isn't getting my equipment from point A to point B, but rather how do I transport my batteries safely. I have 11 M18 batteries (3 HD12s, 4 XC6.0s, 3 CP3.0s and 1 CP2.0).
Right now, I throw 6 of the batteries on a rapid charger, 1 in my radio, 1 in my shop vac, and 1 in my flood light. The other 2 just sit in one of my packouts rattling around.
I'm wondering if there is a good packout compatible battery storage solution. I couldn't find anything online, but I did find some smaller battery storage options from 3rd parties. This is more to just keep things neat and organized. My current way of doing things technically works, I haven't had a problem yet, but I like to keep things neat and organized, and would rather carry an extra case for batteries than I would having batteries all over creation.
Scenario 2: I have to fly out to my site, and bring a limited tool set. In this case, right now I just throw my what I need in one of my toolboxes, which is a checked bag, and I bring 2 batteries with me in my carry-on. I have yet to run into a problem with running out of juice, but some of my upcoming trips are looking like I might need extra power.
I know I need to bring my batteries with me on a carry-on. Occasionally, I've shipped some batteries to my jobsite ahead of time, but I don't always have enough of a heads-up to do this. In some cases, I can throw my old standard charger in my tool box, but it doesn't always have enough room. Can I use the Top-Off to charge my batteries, or is it only 1-way? Has anyone experience any of the cases online that I could use to throw 3-5 batteries in without causing my laptop bag to become too full?
Thanks head of time for suggestions!
Currently in the midst of wanting to get the M18 Quiklok hedge trimmer combo. Unfortunately they don’t have BOGO with the hedge trimmer attachment. Was thinking of getting this instead and doing the hack. Is it worth it?
Also can I get flagged for doing the hack? Last time I did it was at the start of march and so far I’ve only done it twice.
