[SOLVED] How long do most people cut cord for zipper pulls to ensure they have enough length available to actually tie a knot and while also minimizing material waste?

Examples that work:

* “Set a dishwasher timer for 60 minutes.”
* “Set a dryer timer for 30 minutes.”
* “Set an oven timer for 10 minutes.”
* etc. etc.

What consistently NEVER works:

* “Set a paint timer for 30 minutes.”

It’s like Siri refuses to acknowledge the existence of the word “paint”.

Does it work for anyone else?
