Is Siri AI expressive voice and advanced dictation available on macOS 27, or is it only available on iOS 27 for now?

Just wondering if anyone on Mac has either of these two features on macOS 27.

New Siri can hardly ever understand what I’m saying without asking for clarification. Anyone else?

I know it’s a beta and I’m sending feedback but wanted to see if anyone else has this problem. I am a little mumbly sometimes but “old” Siri never had a problem understanding what I said. Now it will almost always say “sorry did you say (x,y, or z?)” kind of annoying

siri 2.0 saying "we've had a problem. please try again" to simple questions

Just installed os 27 beta 2. Got on the waiting list for the new Siri and immediately it was activated. it can't answer the simplest questions. Ive tried turning it off and back on. It will do some os based actions but no chat GPT integration based stuff.

No Memory, No AI: Siri AI Is Bullshit

I tried the new Siri AI with a very simple real-life task, and honestly, this is exactly why I don’t buy Apple’s “Siri will know you better” marketing yet.
I was watching an Instagram Reel about a beautiful place I might want to visit. I asked Siri to create a note and put the link from the video into it.
First problem: it didn’t include the link. Maybe Siri currently can’t pull a link directly from Instagram. Fine, I can forgive that.
But the bigger problem is much worse: Siri has no idea how my Notes are organized.
It just created a random note in the default Notes folder. It didn’t understand that I already have folders for different things: places I want to visit, car issues, shopping lists, personal logs, projects, etc. Unless I say the exact folder name perfectly every single time, Siri does not understand where the note belongs.
And that’s the real issue: Siri has no useful memory.
It doesn’t know what folders I have. It doesn’t learn where I usually save certain types of notes. It doesn’t understand that “beautiful place to visit” should probably go into my travel/places folder. It just performs a basic command like an old voice assistant.
So when Apple says Siri will “know you better,” I’m sorry, but right now that feels like bullshit.
A real AI assistant needs memory. Without memory, it’s not really an assistant. It’s just a voice command tool with a nicer animation.

Siri Ai is still sooooo bad! I hope they fix this

So I’ll make this quick, to put it into perspective my whole issue, I tried to show my friend the “great new Siri ai” and how I got it early and how good the responses are and all the features, but then Siri just didn’t want to fuckin work… like I must’ve repeated myself 20x it just acted like it couldn’t hear me… I got siri ai like a week after it released on beta, got beta 2. So on paper, it works good. Like if you’re in a dead quiet space and have no accent and speak articulate enough it’ll work just fine. Just as advertised. The problem is, when you ACTUALLY need it… example, when ur drivinggggg… for some reason when you actually fuckin need it, it just doesn’t respond. Siri will turn on, listen, then just turn off while ur speaking… sometimes it’ll still do the “something went wrong” thing. And all those bs issues Siri had before. Yes, the functions they advertise do work. The problem is, it’s not smooth… like it does work most of the time, but the times that it doesn’t (which is often asf like 1-2 times out of 5… enough to where it’s a noticeable trend) it just makes the whole thing useless. I can’t count how many times I tried to get Siri to put on the maps to somewhere and like it just refused to work I was better off driving w 1 hand while using the other to use my phone to put the maps on.

Gemini, Claude and gpt agent voice models work sooo much better bro like I’m wonder how can it be sooo hard, to get Siri to have the same response system, and I don’t mean the quality of the response I just mean like the system actually being able to hear and understand what ur saying. This NEVER happens w ChatGPT voice models… idk, it is still beta… but like the way it fucks up is tooo similar to the old Siri, feels like it’ll stay like that…

Lmk what yall think… like… Apple is a multi billion dollar company, no way, a random Asian guy that works for open ai, is able to make their shit work better in like 2 years than Siri has in damn near 20… I’m pissed man, I rly want Siri to work cuz I use gpt voice models too often n Siri would be hella convenient but the way it is rn, damn near unusable still…

What is wrong with Apple’s Siri

Does anyone notice how inaccurate Siri can be when speaking voice to text or am I the only one I thought for sure Apple would have advanced this technology much further and better than what it has

Siri can’t count

If you ask New Siri to count to 100 she will begin counting aloud but at random she will say the same number twice before moving on to the next correct number. 🤣

Anyone else want the old glowing border back?

IMO the new invocation of Siri is not better. It often blocks relevant information on the screen. Sometimes it’s information I am referencing as I’m attempting to use Siri.

Homepod Siri voice recognition seems to have fallen off a cliff

Wondering if this is lucky me, or a shared experience, but in the last couple weeks my HomePod has been more regularly failing to understand me.

I asked "play the podcast The Intelligence from the Economist", like I have literally hundreds of times (maybe close to 1,000) but got "Latin Lessons the Donner Doctrine Boost" (or something like that) every single time I tried this evening.

I now have to shout, in what's become a rather loud and rather angry sounding voice "Hey Siri!" to get the p.o.s. to actually listen for my next instructions.

Am I just "lucky"? Or have others started to get erratic?
