Siri AI is DOA. If you get tired of submitting constant feedback and not having it fixed, it's easy to turn off Siri AI. When you re-enable it you get the option for Siri Classic. That way you don't have to downgrade etc, you can keep the rest of iOS 27.

Do you think Apple will only update the underlying foundation models once a year with new releases of its operating systems or do you think they will update the Apple Foundation Models more frequently?

AI models move at the speed of light. In the span of a year, there are countless breakthroughs and improvements. I know Apple isn’t going to be on the bleeding edge of AI model technology, but will we always be a year+ behind? I know that none of us know for sure, but I’m interested in what you all predict will happen.

I am EU union resident and I’d like to access Siri AI in EU. However I don’t want to cancel my subscriptions because that’s not something I’d like to do. That’s why I thought maybe creating a new non eu Apple ID would work but at the same time I’m worried that it won’t work to bypass restrictions. Another way is for me to cancel subscriptions and change country/region by going to App Store settings. This has been giving me a headache a lot. So my question is will a non Apple ID work or not? The best case for me would be so I wouldn’t need to cancel my subscriptions however if I won’t have any choice but cancel them then I will do. Much appreciate for answer

No se me activa la nueva Siri.. tengo iOS 27 beta 5 en 16 pro Max con idioma en inglés EEUU y Siri en inglés EEUU .. lleva más de 4 días descargando y no acaba .. ya el indexación acabó hace 3 días .. que puedo hacer

I’ve had an iPhone for years, but it’s getting a little ridiculous, there’s so many AI options and question answering tools out there that I truly believe Siri should not be this stupid, I mean for God sake’s apple is a multi billion dollar company… MULTI-BILLION. how could you possibly get so lazy? Google has an AI. There’s AI apps all over the App Store. If you ask Siri some of the most simple and basic questions that there possibly are, sometimes he still gets back to you with “would you like me to look that up on ChatGPT?” or “ here’s what I found on the Webb.” because it seriously can’t answer one simple question, then if it does look something up on the web (just because it wants to, not because you told it to) it can’t even give you an answer as to how it looked up whatever random thing it decides to look up at that moment, so how am I supposed to know what all of these search results are when I don’t even know what the hell I actually searched, I mean it’s a little ridiculous. MULTI-BILLION dollar company… seriously it’s like a bad joke. And now they have this AI developer app, website whatever you wanna call it, absolutely just as useless. You can ask that thing any question too it’ll answer with I don’t have an answer for that because it’s not related to Apple, even if it is related to Apple and it just doesn’t have an answer for it. Seriously, how can you be a leading technology brand, when in the literal age of AI, you can’t seem to get a firm grasp on your own. There’s so many problems with it. Seriously just maybe focus on not releasing the next iPad that has one less button than the last one and it’s literally the exact same otherwise, or making an iPhone, that’s literally the exact same as the last iPhone but now we get a shittier camera cause you know it’s gonna sell regardless when people change their phone plans. I mean, you can get away with it, but what’s the point in tarnishing your name further by leaving this trash “ intelligent assistant” Siri attached to your name at all, at least when you’re scamming people into getting your new products that’s actually working, on the other hand is not. Leader of technology (lol) my ass you are. Sorry I know it’s a little bit of a rant at the end… just please try to remember this is a MULTI-BILLION dollar company pulling this.

I get that Apple Intelligence requires newer models to run efficiently (I don't), but limiting 90% of iOS 27 to the 15 Pros and above gives a sense of feeling left out for users with phones that aren't that old.

I use an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Definitely a capable phone. Why can't they make an update to the older Siri (making it a Mini Apple Intelligence Siri) for the older models? Why does it have to be ONLY the newer models?

Well… After downloading the iOS 27 beta and playing with it for the last several weeks, it still sucks.

It’s better, but it still sucks compared to just about anything else. Repeated questions end up just causing it to fail with not even a reply

Its ability to look at third-party apps, meaningful health data,is pretty pathetic.

About the only thing it does well is read my email and summarize… Something ChatGPT could do three years ago

This was a few years ago but sometimes it still pops up in my head bc it freaked me out so much so I decided to share it lol.
So one day me and my now husband were laying in bed, my phone was abt a few feet away from me like on the other side of the bed, not facing towards us.
Anyway I was having some stomach issues that day and I look at my husband to tell him and how I don’t feel good, I said “I don’t feel good, it’s hurting right here” and pointed at my lower abdomen, my brain wasn’t working and couldn’t remember what it was called so I asked him while pointing at my lower abdomen “what is this part called again” and before he could even answer Siri literally said “that’s called your lower abdomen”…
I keep trying to think of ways that she could have been triggered and somehow knew what I was talking abt , but her name was not said, or anything near her name, and again I didn’t say anything abt my stomach, I just said that I don’t feel good and asked what part of my body is this again and pointed. Anyyywayyyy don’t know if anyone else has had this happen to them before

Today I was in the middle of doing something when I got a text from my friend telling me a story. I opted to have Siri read it out loud so I could continue what I was doing. While it was reading it outloud I noticed it WOULD NOT PRONOUNCE THE WORLD KILL!! WTH there was never any formal announcement of this update unless I missed it. I’m one of those who read the terms and conditions. I have seen nothing. Anyone else ??

I have noticed just how much slower it is to have Siri do the basic stuff I’d tell it to do like setting a reminder, sending a text in the car, or even continuing to play a podcast. Old Siri would do it in less than 2-3 seconds, the new Siri AI will sit there in the most basic of requests. I already have my podcasts app open why does it sit there waiting when I say “continue Apple Podcasts”
