Are there any Sri Lankans on campus? 🇱🇰

Hey guys! Just wondering if there are any Sri Lankan students on campus. I couldn’t find any during orientation week 😂. Would be cool to connect with some fellow Sri Lankans!

What are my chances

How strong is my F-1 visa profile?

* Italian citizen

* 24 years old

* Transfer student (60 credits completed)

* 3.7 GPA

* Admitted to Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas

* $12,500/year merit scholarship

* Strong financial support/funding available for my studies

* No relatives or immediate family living in the U.S.

What do you think my chances are of getting approved for an F-1 visa? I’d appreciate any feedback from people who’ve been through the process.

What should I know before starting Aerospace Engineering at KU as a transfer?

Hi everyone ! I'm an incoming transfer student planning to study Aerospace Engineering at KU and I'm trying to make the most of my time before I arrive on campus.

For context: I've got A's in both Calc 1 and Calc 2 and I'm sitting at a 3.7 GPA, so I feel reasonably prepared academically but I'd love to hear from current students or recent grads about what you wish you had done before starting. What courses, topics, or skills should I brush up on or get ahead of before the semester starts? Are there any clubs, resources, or people I should connect with early on? And is there anything transfer students specifically should know that freshmen might not have to worry about?
