Coffee tastes bitter with minty aftertaste

Coffee tastes bitter with minty aftertaste

I am new to coffee brewing. I am using chestnut c3s for grinding(20 clicks), aeropress inverted 1:30 steep and 30s press until the first air hiss comes. I am using about 100deg water. My beans are dark roast and I got a 4 month old sealed pack. However the coffee is turning out bitter and more importantly has a minty aftertaste. Am I doing something wrong or is it just the old beans?

Girls feelings suddenly changed after meeting

Got a girls number about 4 weeks ago. We started talking and conversation was flowing well since day 1. Within a week we were on video call for 4-5 hours a day even 8-9 hours a day. We live in different cities so I was visiting her city for rakhi and planned to meet. While the conversation was going she herself talked about trips we would take and how the wedding would be and serious conversations. But we were on the same page that we should date for a while and see. When we met she got me different chocolates with personalised notes. The meeting went great we stayed longer than planned she took pictures of our hands to soft launch and everything. We were supposed to meet more over the weekend but she just wasn't responsive and missing for hours. Before she would let me know if she was going somewhere for even an hour. Last night finally after lots of talking got it out of her that she hoped our meeting would go a certain way and she would be sure that I was the one. That didn't happen and she doesn't think it ever will. She said she's not interested in me romantically. She cried a lot about how much she will miss me how much this will hurt and so on. I'm not sure what to make of it because I felt we connected even when we met. Any advice or experiences are helpful.
