Suggestions on wiring fix.
I have an '05 RX-8 I am fixing. While inspecting the engine bay I found the harness on the passenger front sustained damage. It appears before I got the car someone wrapped up the abs sensor wires in the wheel and tore them out. The wires are the Black/orange and Black/light blue which should be the signal wires for the abs sensor. But it also appears that one of the common grounds was pulled out of the rubber ground junction closer to the headlamp area. Getting a new pigtail for the abs sensor is easy enough but I wasn't sure about the best way to repair the ground junction.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've never seen anything quite like it before. It is a rubberized junction that has two larger gauge and two smaller gauge grounds all sealed together with a strain reliefs in the jacket.
