Hey! Me and my girlfriend are heading to Thailand and Malaysia this February. We fly into Chiang Mai and out of Kuala Lumpur, and this is roughly what we've put together:
Chiang Mai (4 nights) → fly to Krabi → Koh Kradan (4 nights) → boat via Lipe to Langkawi, quick flight to Penang (3 nights) → Cameron Highlands (3 nights) → one night in KL before flying home.
We're more into nature, culture, food and a good drinks rather than parties or crowds, so that's kind of why we picked these spots. Not sure if Kradan is the best island for us, or if 3 nights in Cameron is too long.
If you've done something similar, would love to hear what you'd change, and any quiet spots/places you can't miss. Cheers!
